Full data breadth for financial instruments

The Finsuite Datamodel includes six core packages that enable the structuring and representation of all relevant information on financial instruments.

CASH FLOW

Rights and cash flows connected to financial instruments that are part of the initial definition (e.g. interest payments, dividends, principal payments, option rights, call and put features, conversion rights).

EVENT

Events that alter financial instruments or their issuing institutions, which were not part of the initial terms of the instrument (e.g. mergers, spin-offs, takeovers, purchase offers, legal proceedings).

LISTING

Information on financial markets where the instrument is traded (e.g. listings, trading practices, prices).

INSTITUTIONS

Institutions associated with financial instruments (e.g. issuers, guarantors, lead managers, payment agents).

COUNTRY

Information related to countries and their legal systems (e.g. languages, currencies, restrictions, taxation).

Comprehensive data structure for positions and transactions

For operations- and workflows, Finsuite includes five areas, enabling the structuring and representation of all relevant information on positions, transactions, assets, conditions, and partners.

POSITION

Accounts, deposits, and the individual balances of financial instruments and other assets, including entitlements (e.g. borrowed) and contingencies (e.g. margin requirement).

TRANSACTION

Orders, transactions, their triggers, and accounting entries (e.g. trading orders, loan applications, payment instructions, collection of interests and dividends).

CONDITION

Contractual and financial conditions to be applied in position keeping and order execution (e.g. terms and conditions, fees, taxes commissions).

ASSET

All asset types other than financial instruments covered by the Financial Instrument Data Model (FIDM), such as real estate, vehicles, and insurance contracts, as well as non-financial asset features like value estimation.

PARTNER
